Your position
The position is part of the Swiss Competence Center for Energy Research SCCER CREST and limited to four years (one year, renewable for three more years). The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the SCCER-CREST through research with a focus on energy markets as well as to design and pursue his or her own creative research ideas in the area of industrial organization more broadly. The position also involves teaching assistance at the bachelor's and/or master's level (in German or English).
Your profile
Applicants should hold a master degree in economics or closely related areas. We expect an interest in specific topics such as energy markets, competition policy, regulation, and in the use of theory and/or experimental methods. Proficiency in English, as well as the ability to work in both a collaborative and independent setting are a prerequisite. Experience in energy research and knowledge of German are not required but a plus.
