A diagnostic & lifescience company with a good reputation in the UK market require a Business Development Manager to work with their service side of the business and develop strong relationships across the UK & Ireland.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers across the UK, negotiating high value contracts and providing education and training to the teams across the UK & Ireland. You will be joining a company who have experienced impressive growth in the past 5 years within the lifescience sector, despite some tough competition from other global players in the field. This is a progressive role, beginning in the UK & Ireland with a natural progression to becoming more international depending on how quickly you perform.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to bring the following skills:
* At least 5-6 years experience in solution/service selling
* At least 5 years experience in the diagnostics / lifescience sector
* Proven experience in winning contracts from competitors
* Candidates must be based in the UK with good access to transport links and ability to travel across the whole of the UK with occasional trips to Ireland
