Environmental Health & Safety Manager for chemical plant

Stop looking! My client is a chemical company, specialised the branch of fertilizers, which is growing fast in the last years. They are looking for a EHSQ manager who will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for two production sites based near Gent, Belgium.

The company has the support of a big international chemical company as their main share holder. This situation will give you stability as well as career progression within the big chemical company, as the position actually opened after the last HSEQ got promoted.

The company itself is going through a major change, passing from a family business to an international internal structure. You will be a vital part of this change and all your expertise will be proven in this challenge where you will need to implement stronger safety policies through the team of people that you will manage across the two production plants.

Requirements:
_ At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role in a chemical environment
_ Fluency in Dutch and English languages, plus good command of French or willingness to improve it with time
_ proved experience in managerial/leader roles on a group of people
_ willing to take on challenges (the person, through the team he/she will lead, will be in charge of implementing better and stronger safety policy)
