Job Details

Working with some of the most innovative and ground breaking products on the marketing ensures that your day to day life within PV is never boring and that you are at the forefront of new developments.

The company I am currently working along side are looking at several product launches over the next few years and are looking for a UK Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance. This newly created position will ensure compliance and the effectiveness of the PV system for the UK and Ireland and to support the Global PV System.

You will be at the forefront of ensuring that the UK PV team are running at full productivity as you proactively find new methods to improve the systems and procedures. This will allow you to have a real impact on the department you work within and let you see the changes that you are making unfold in front of your eyes, not something that you can say happens in many large Pharma companies.

Alongside the more managerial aspects of the role you will also be able to flex your scientific bones with signals tasks and PSUR input. Having this dual aspect to the role will really allow you to work across the breadth of Pharmacovigilance and ensure that you have a varied work life day to day.

Being based in Scotland you can benefit from cheaper house prices, situated within a 1 hour train ride to Edinburgh you will be surrounded by some of the most fantastic British countryside around, quite the opposite to many people living in the hustle and bustle of large cities.

The requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Medical or Pharmacy Degree
  • Strong background in PV
  • Good knowledg of GCP ICH and Best PV practices
  • Expereice with PV tools and the management and interpretation of safety data.

If you feel tha tthis varied role based north of the border would be something you would want to be doing in your PV career then send your CV to me; Greg Collins at G.Collins@nonstop-recruitment.com alternatively you can call me on 02079402105.
