A chemical company is currently interviewing candidates for the position of Electrical and Instrumentation Manager. Responsibilities:
* Acts as the Company Technical Authority.
* Overall responsibility for the organisation and operation of the E & I department covering all inspection, maintenance, capital work.
* Liaison at all levels inside the company. Outside contacts typically include suppliers, contractors and agencies such as the HSE & insurance inspectors.
* Project work - overall responsibility for the design, specification, and installation of all electrical and instrument equipment.
* Personnel management of the E & I department.
The Position will be initially located in the west midlands and after 18 months, a new site can be set up. The position is reporting directly to the Managing Director, making your work highly visible. Requirements:
* Experience in the chemical industry, CompEx Certificate
* University Degree in electrical engineering
* Experience with instrumentation
* Managerial experience
