Job Details
The School seeks to recruit an outstanding Professor of Law to join our thriving academic environment, contribute to research and teaching therein and provide strong and effective academic leadership. We embrace excellence in all its forms and welcome applications from across the range of legal subject areas and research methodologies.
You should have an outstanding track record of published research, recognized internationally and predominantly of 3* or 4* quality measured by REF2014 standards and with a recognised contribution to the discipline; a portfolio of high quality publications for REF2021; experience of applying for external research funding; evidence of broad knowledge and deep expertise in your area(s) of scholarship; extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level; and evidence of strong managerial, administrative and leadership skills. You should also have a completed PhD or equivalent in law and a strong honours degree at undergraduate level or equivalent in law or a law-related subject
The position is open ended and available from 1 September 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is full time, however the School is open to requests for working part time/job share.
