    The Division is comprised of five key portfolio areas led by: the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning); Pro Vice-Chancellor (International); Dean, Indigenous Research and Education Strategy; University Librarian and the Executive Director, Division of Academic and Student Engagement.

    The Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) portfolio area provides leadership in achieving the University’s strategic goals, particularly in relation to facilitating the development of strategic alliances and collaborative agreements with international partners, including articulation, exchange and off-shore teaching arrangements, developing international policy, fostering student global mobility and providing advice and support for internationalisation initiatives across the University

    The Short Programs Coordinator, working under the general direction of the Manager, Strategic Student Opportunities, facilitates the development, administration and promotion of international short program opportunities including study tours, Summer and Winter schools, internships and other short-term outbound activities. The Short Programs Coordinator will assist the faculties in the coordination of study-tours and will liaise with overseas partners to develop short program opportunities.

    Salary: HEO6  $77,316 - $83,548 per annum.

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies.

    Term of position: This fixed-term contract is available immediately until 18 July 2019.

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

    1. Broad demonstrated experience in international education program administration in the higher education sector.
    2. Well-developed interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    3. Demonstrated experience in program/new business development.
    4. High-level oral and written communications skills, including the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations, and produce high quality written documents, promotional materials and reports.
