Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quantitative researcher to bring their own skill set to a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) funded study.

You will be leading the set-up, quantitative data collection and analysis, day-to-day running and result reporting for the RAPID-TEST study, a ten-month primary care feasibility study. RAPID-TEST will explore the use of microbiological point-of-care testing for respiratory tract infections in primary care, and to our knowledge is the first study of its kind in primary care. It has the potential to generate highly novel, publishable findings and to lead to a subsequent larger grant application.

You will be well supported as a member of the successful and diverse Infection Research Team in the Centre for Academic Primary care, which is led by Prof Alastair Hay.

Informal enquiries are welcome; please email Hannah.Thornton@bristol.ac.uk and Alastair.Hay@Bristol.ac.uk

The University is committed to creating and sustaining a fully inclusive culture.  We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
