UQ Executive Education, located at UQ’s City campus at 293 Queen Street, is a branch of the UQ Business School, one of the largest Schools within the University employing approximately 190 academic staff and 75 professional staff. As one of the highest performing Business Schools in the Asia Pacific, the UQ Business School is an already high performing school that seeks to further strengthen its reputation in the areas of teaching, research and engagement.
UQ Executive Education provides executive development courses and programs for practising managers and leaders. Execution Education leverages its industry engagement with the significant capabilities of the MBA programs and other disciplines across the business school, faculty and broader university. Executive Education courses are offered both as open enrolment and customised/in-house programs. Executive Education is a gateway to the capabilities of the university, through leadership, and research of the Business School and other UQ faculties. The Role
The position is responsible for managing existing strategic partnerships and clients and generating new business for UQ Executive Education through these relationships. This involves actively working with clients to identify opportunities to promote and sell Executive Education solutions, courses and programs.
The success of the role is measured by the quality of meaningful and mutually beneficial client engagements, enrolments into open programs and profitable growth across Executive Education offerings.
The Person
Applicants should possess a high level of experience in learning & development, including detailed client consultation, needs analysis, program design and implementation, as well as post intervention follow up.
Applicants should possess relevant qualifications and have a minimum of five years’ experience in a business development, or client management role, with a proven record in business growth and client satisfaction. The successful applicant will have experience in identifying and articulating needs and appropriate Business School solutions, writing proposals, have high-level interpersonal, influence and stakeholder management skills, including effective liaison and negotiation skills. An ability to bridge business and commercial outcomes between faculty and clients is essential in this role.
Remuneration
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,811 -$104,214 per annum plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $108,589 - $121,930 per annum)
