The Executive Director, Student Experience will play an integral role in the continued transformation of this journey by providing leadership across several student facing services ensuring there is cohesion and connected working throughout. This is a key strategic role and the Executive Director will identify, develop and implement successful innovations at the strategic level to make a measurable impact to the lives of students at the University.
The Candidate
The Executive Director will lead a broad portfolio including Student Services, Student and Academic Administration and the Library and Arts Directorate. With a significant portion of the Student Experience in this remit, the Executive Director’s impact will be considerable and will help to realise the potential of these interlocking disciplines.
The successful candidate will have a track record of identifying and shaping strategy which has a meaningful impact, ideally within an academic environment or similar experience focused sector. She/he will be an inspirational leader with the ability to identify opportunities for collaborative working in a complex multi-disciplinary environment whilst interfacing with a senior and varied stakeholder community. The role demands exceptional managerial skills, and the ability to positively engage with change.
