Job Details
This EPSRC funded project is to maximise the capability of an existing Waters Synapt G2Si ion mobility mass spectrometer. The postholder will initially develop and maximise capability of IM-MS in the field of small molecules, supramolecular chemistry, polymers and small molecule interactions and associated shape change.
Training and education will form an important role of the impact of the appointee. Standard operating protocols and procedure material will be developed and this will be used to train existing and future users. Advanced one-to-one training will also be provided to key users.
You should have a PhD or equivalent professional qualification/and or experience in ion mobility mass spectrometry. This post is suitable for chemists, biochemists with a strong background in ion mobility mass spectrometry.
