DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
 
Candidates for the above position should meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a PhD degree in the Humanities, the discipline: Linguistics
  • Hold an MA degree in English Philology;
  • Have a fluent command of another foreign language at level C1;
  • Fulfillment of the conditions described in the act of July 27th 2005 Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2017, item. 2183 with later changes) and law of 25th June 2015 Ignacy Lukasiewicz Rzeszow University of Technology Statute with later changes;
  • Have experience of academic teaching at all levels (including general, specialist and academic English);
  • Be able to use interactive board as well as other advanced technologies in classroom practice;
  • Provide teaching track record;
  • Have experience of organizational work
  • Have certificates of participation in trainings, workshops and conferences;
  • Be available to teach on Saturdays and Sundays

 

Required documents

  • An application addressed to the Rector of the Rzeszow University of Technology,
  • CV, personal questionnaire,
  • A copy of documents confirming the title,
  • A written statement from the candidate that Rzeszow University of Technology will be his/her first (main) place of work in the case when he/she wins the competition for the position,
  • A written agreement from the candidate for processing of his/her personal data contained in the job offer for the purpose of completion of the recruitment process which complies with the law from August 29, 1997 about the security of personal data (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 922 with later changes).

 
The administrator of the personal data is Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszow University of Technology seated at Al. Powstańców Warszawy 12, 35-959 Rzeszów. Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of conducting a recruitment process for an employee post at the Rzeszow University of Technology. The data will not be shared with recipients within the meaning of art. 7 point 6 of the Act on the protection of personal data. The data subject has the right of access to the content of the data and the possibility of correcting it. Passing of personal data is voluntary, but refusing to give them is tantamount to not being able to participate in the recruitment process conducted by the Rzeszow University of Technology.

Positive recommendation of the jury is the basis for initiating the procedure leading to employment in the Rzeszow University of Technology in accordance with the procedure set out in the Statute of the RUT. The final decision on employment is made by Rector.
