Job Details
Job Purpose
The postholder will be required to develop and characterise bioconjugation techniques for sensors.
Person Specification
- Completed a PhD in physical sciences or related disciplines.
- Expertise in the development and use of a multitude of techniques/ chemistries for the attachment of biomolecules (antibodies, enzymes, aptamers, etc.) to polymers particularly, hydrogels.
- Experience in the incorporation of site-directed functional groups into biomolecules and/ or polymers will be highly valued.
- Knowledge of the use of bioassays and/or sensors is desirable.
- Ability to analyse and present data as well as communicate effectively.
