Job Details
The successful candidate would require:
- A first degree or equivalent in physics, engineering or related discipline, OR within management and related disciplines.
- Proven expertise in technical delivery OR significant professional management experience such as obtained within an industrial setting
- Excellent communication skills, including documentation.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- General knowledge or awareness of cold atom systems
And would desirably possess qualities such as:
- Experience in communications, liaison and events coordination
- Experience in technology translation and development.
We are looking to recruit an individual to work on the development of cold atoms technology. The successful candidate would join the atom interferometry team within the UK National Quantum Technology Hub in Sensors and Metrology, which has a growing portfolio of research and innovation projects. The role will include technical development and supporting the work of the team by contributing to the team and technical project management. These projects allow working with a number of external partners, so an ability to liaise with industry and an aptitude for working in a highly collaborative, dynamic team environment would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will interact with internal teams at the University.
