Purpose

To provide initial engagement and assessment of new businesses opportunities. This will involve probing investigation in support of each organisations’ needs and the potential support that can be provided by University resource. Following on from this you will be required to provide oversight of ‘early stage’ activity with the business encompassing small consultancy work and use of University equipment to the point at which a relationship is developed. In addition, you will introduce new businesses to the appropriate area within the R&I; Service organisation providing oversight on the engagement between University resources and new business enquiries.
