Job Details
We are seeking candidates who are able to deliver world-class research and teaching and to contribute to the academic leadership of colleagues in the Department of Accounting and Finance. Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified candidates in any area of accounting, though we are particularly interested in applicants with research interests in management accounting or financial reporting and accountability.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of publishing consistently in highly rated accounting journals.
They will have a track record of obtaining and attracting research funding (from private and/or public funding bodies) and be able to demonstrate the impact of their research on the profession as well as the wider academic community. We also expect the successful candidate to demonstrate excellence in delivery of high quality teaching and programme development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will be experienced in supervising post-graduate (Masters and Doctorate) research students and mentoring more junior academic staff.
