Job Details

My client is looking for a Franchise Acqusition Manager to help set up a US brand into the European markets starting with Germany.

Profile:

* Subject-Matter-Expert with in-depth knowledge of the German Fast Fit/Tyre industry
* Experience in successfully prospecting and recruiting potential candidates for a medium-large aftersales brand, growing the network of outlets
* Understanding of franchising environment in Germany across all sectors and in-depth know-how of existing business models within the German Aftermarket main players i.e. Repair shops
* Hands-on experience in delivering selling pitches for a concept at all levels, including but not limited to multi-site investors and Joint Ventures
* Experience of "own workshop" is a plus i.e. Profit and Loss responsibility
Primary Tasks:
* Be in charge of sourcing and attracting suitable candidates to grow the network
* Brokering deals with local chains, multi-site operations as well as single site operations to join the BRAND network using centrally provided tools and equipment
* Developing convincing selling arguments towards potential franchisees
* Organizing national events and brand building activities to increase the brand awareness
* Brokering deals with agreed locations (operating site or newly built locations)
* Overseeing the full process of initial approach to a potential candidate throughout the opening (hand-over to Launch Manager after sign-up)
* Working with real estate agents to explore idle sites and enrich the candidate pool
* Recruit/train additional team members as necessary to accommodate the growing number of network targets

Supportive Tasks:
* Provide subject-matter-expertise to BRAND European Team, establishing country standards as well understanding German after-market from a commercial point of view
* Provide support to BRAND Country Manager, negotiating acquisitions and take-overs, brokering deals with land/property/business owners
