Research Associate/ Senior Research Associate in Health Data Science

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral research associate / senior research associate with experience in at least one of: causal inference, biomedical data integration/analysis or data mining, and an enthusiasm to develop skills in all these areas. The successful candidate will join a vibrant interdisciplinary research environment in the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit, working within a programme on data mining of epidemiological relationships (bris.ac.uk/ieu/research/bioinformatics/).

The postholder will have the opportunity to develop their own research ideas within the programme, contribute to teaching and postgraduate training and will be supported in their career progression. They will also have access to training to build their expertise in health data science.

You will have a strong applied statistical and/or computational background, with experience in Python, R and/or other programming languages and experience working with large biomedical/health datasets. You may also have experience or understanding of machine learning and causal inference using graphical causal models.
