HEAD OF BIOLOGY - ROCHFORD - BRAND NEW SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

I am currently working with a top performing school in Essex looking for a Head of Biology to start in September.

This school have invested half a million pound into refurbishing the science department with new equipment and facilities so you will be working in a state of the art building with top performing students using the highest quality resources.

Not only will you have amazing facilities but the class sizes are usually around 12-15 and the students were actually recognised by Ofsted for being easily manageable, engaged and high performing. This means you can really focus on the teaching side of things rather than dealing with behaviour issues.

They are really looking for someone that is;

- QTS Qualified

- PGCE in Science

- Experience as HOD or long term teacher experience

- Able to teach across the curriculum ( KS3-5 )

- Great subject knowledge

- Specialist in Biology
