VP Business Development, Biologics CDMO, Building a brand new structure, long term incentives, working for a well funded and fast paced Pharma company, home based option

I am currently mandated on a search for a senior level business development head that will be responsible for building up a new business unit for CDMO activities globally. It is particularly interesting as the company are growing fast and have exceptional manufacturing ability which they are now looking to exploit. In particular they are strong within biological development and we are looking for someone strong in this field to be a part of this journey.

I target this role for strong BD/sales candidates in the CDMO space who are looking for a new challenge with some serious 'end game'(long term incentives) opportunity. Hence you are not just working to make your commission but actually working to build long term and sustainable business. The company in question are well funded, have great energy and have many USPs. Key Responsibilities:
* Building up a CDMO business unit globally
* Bringing in sales/buyers via networking, conferences and other typical business development activities
* Part of the senior management team reporting to the CEO
* Over time hiring and building a team from scratch

Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in BD in Biologics for CDMOs/CMOs
* Experience in selling services EU wide and ideally globally
* Both hands on and strategic mind set needed for business set-up
* Ability to travel
* Fluency in English
