This Local Authority based in South East London has a Good Ofsted, which means you will be part of a very good environment that is focused on the quality of care delivered to the children.

With this authority having capped caseloads at 20, this makes for a more manageable workload. Allowing social workers in the team more time on their cases and more balance with there work and home life. This local authority is committed to creating stronger communities and increasing resilience within children's services. Ensuring that people get the personalised care they need and additionally will create a better work life balances for the social workers.

Having visited the office myself, they have an open office split into areas. Where the senior managers sit with the social workers, allowing you to have insights from senior staff at any given time.

Apply for this position if you are a Social Worker with experience in any of the following teams: Children in Need, Child Protection, Court Work, Children with Disabilities, MASH and Referral and Assessment. You must also have a Social Work Degree, a HCPC registration and a driving license.
