I am currently working with one of the counties leading Independent Fostering Provider's as they seek to expand their talent pool within the North East in 2018.

The main aim within 2018 is for the IFA's 'Outstanding' rated service to maintain an 'Outstanding' OFSTED report whilst they continually develop and expand the service.

What does it mean to be a Supervising Social Worker within this IFA?

As a Supervising Social Worker you will be responsible for nurturing and supporting a caseload of approximately 12 Carer's, the main aim of which is to ensure that the carer's in your hands are fully equipped to deal with the children and young people in their care.

You will develop relationships with carer's and children alike throughout your career, helping to advise the organisation on how placements are progressing and whether or not things need to be amended to achieve the best possible outcome for the children in your care. (A highly satisfying and fulfilling area of work)
