NonStop Technical is working with a reputable and globally recognised German car manufacturer. The company is seeking to strengthen its presence in Belgium by hiring a Sales Manager who will report only to the Managing Director.

What this opportunity offers is a great degree of job diversity. You will be managing and coaching an internal sales team, and at the same time you will be managing the relationships with dealers on a regular basis - coaching, organising training sessions, negotiation, etc. You are also heavily involved in marketing and brand strategies for the company. Essentially, you are THE main Sales Manager in BeLux and you will have a wide range of core activities to focus on - all of which will have an impact towards achieving sales targets by year 2020. You will be working on a very exciting project that will allow you to specialise further in different areas.

Your position is also high-level as you report only to the Managing Director. You will have a lot of room to put into use your own leadership style and implement strategies you think can improve further the performance of the brand. This gives you a lot of independence and ability to directly impact the whole direction of the company.

You will:

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with the brand, establishing the captive as a valuable partner of the brand
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Belux or The Netherlands
  • Establish sales targets and associated vehicle campaigns
  • Manage relationships of large dealers groups
  • Meet sales targets of new and used cars financing and car insurances
  • Meet penetration targets for car financing and car insurance
  • Increase the share of packaged offers in order to increase customer loyalty towards the brand & the captive
  • Support and coach dealers

Your profile:

  • Extensive sales experience in automotive industry preferably in a captive environment
  • Experience in negotiating on dealer principle level
  • Experience in leading small sales teams
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
  • In-depth knowhow of dealer sales and customer processes
  • Coaching and motivation skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills

For this permanent position our client is offering a salary package of EUR 85,000 - EUR 105,000 plus bonuses, benefits and company car.
