My client, a Local Authority in the South East of England, is looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) who can join them on a locum basis. You will have a long term contract (minimum 6 months but it can get extended) so you will have stability as well. The pay is £33 per hour, so you will be well rewarded for your work also.

The service is responsible for receiving and prioritising adult safeguarding referrals and ensuring actions are taken to address immediate risks where necessary and making decisions on which cases need to be passed to locality teams for further enquiry.

Occupational therapists in the team are responsible for undertaking more complex case work, particularly where there are issues related to complex adaptations or health conditions or where advice is required around moving and handling. They will support the triage of assessment and will provide support and, dependent on experience, supervision to Assessment Officers.

Please apply if you are an Occupational Therapist with experience in working within the Adults Services and if you are proficient in Moving and Handling and training is up to date. You must also have a drivers license.
