Analytical Chemist - 6 Months Contract - Leading FMCG

This is a great role for a professional to be involved in a analytical position for a global leading beauty company. Working closely with your line manager, your role will be focused on performong quality control analysis of Raw materials used in cosmetic product manufacture against global and local quality specifications and procedures in line with good laboratory practice and Health and Safety policies.

In adittion, this will be a great opportunity for you to join a multinational company, working with a vast area of brand products and in order to make your profile more apealing to employers and develop your skill set.

If you are looking for a fix term permanent contract in order to develop certain skills, my client can provide you with the perfect opportunity. Due to their massive growth they are now looking for an analytical chemist to help them with the extra work load working just 20 hours a week for 6 months. This can give you extra time to spend with your family or close ones and still earn a nice income on the side.

Main duties include:

* Perform analysis of Raw materials according to quality and R&D specifications
* Review and analyze quality results for quality improvements to support key metrics
* Timely and effective quality testing to ensure material flow and production support
* Adherence to H&S, Quality, GLP, GMP (ISO22716) and Hygiene policies
* Raise quality notifications and take part in root cause / problem solving investigations
* Rheology testing on Bulk cosmetic products
* Preservative testing in Bulk cosmetic products

Regarding experience my client is looking for people with a background in QC and analytical testing within the pharmaceutical, FMCG, chemical or biotech industry. This is an English speaking environment and experience in UK or the EU is needed.
