QA GMP Microbiologist, Get out of the Lab

This global biotech are further expanding their QC microbiology team by recruiting this new position. Although part of the QC team you will actually be working on quality assurance GMP documentation. Your role will take you out of the lab and provide a stepping stone into a pure QA function.

Main Duties:
* Performs testing to ensure cGMP compliance in the manufacturing facility.
* Responsible for assessing the microbiological quality of products, facility utilities, manufacturing equipment and manufacturing process areas.
* Reviews and updates SOPs.
* Participates in training of other employees.
* Performs peer review of data.
* Performs microbial identification procedures.

Experience Needed:
* Requires BS/BA in Life Sciences (Ideally microbiology)
* Experience in QC microbiology
* Experience of working to GMP compliance
* Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
