Job Details

You are invited to apply for the post of Research Technician to work in the Academic Unit of Cancer Sciences’ Laboratories based at the Southampton General Hospital. You will support the single-cell based cancer research activities of the Unit.

As someone with proven relevant work experience you will be required to carry out the prescribed tasks with minimal direct supervision after the initial training period. You will need to be highly organised, and be able to work well under pressure, whilst remaining health and safety focused. You will be fully-focused to provide timely and efficient laboratory support for Cancer Sciences Researchers. 

Previous experience of working in the Life-sciences environment within a laboratory is essential.
