Do you have a track record of developing and delivering strategic plans and a strong vision of what is required to deliver the Centre’s ambition to be a serious competitor in the ethics consulting marketplace?
The primary objective of the Development Director in this 2 year post will be to lead the development of the IDEA Consulting and Training (‘C&T;’) client-facing capabilities and value propositions that will enable and equip the Centre to win a larger share of the external ethics consulting market over time.The vision is that the Director will lead the delivery of the Centre’s ambition to be the consultancy of choice in its key target areas of ethics consulting by prioritizing and delivery of critical activities, such as:
- Winning commissions for larger scale, research-rich consultancy projects that enhance the strength and impact of core areas of research;
- Building and maintaining longer term, sustainable and trusted external relationships in the market;
- Drafting and delivery of competitive, client-focused proposals that bring to life the Centre’s unique selling points and differentiate the C&T; teams’ offerings;
- Increasing the profile and reputation of the C&T; capabilities and propositions in the market through more presence at high impact, external events and publication of practitioner-focused pieces.
The role will be split as follows:
- 70%: leadership and delivery of the critical areas of activity as outlined above;
- 30%: conducting own research.
