The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences (SEES) is a vibrant, multidisciplinary School with extensive teaching and research programs covering the fields of Geology, Geography, Environmental Science and Management, Occupational Health and Safety Sciences and Urban and Regional Planning.


The role

This position supports the School’s student and academic administration services and is responsible for providing advice and ensuring the efficient operation of the School’s activities in this area. The successful appointee will provide high-level customer service and support to students and staff on student and academic administration issues in the School.


The person

Applicants should possess relevant qualifications, have demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service in a team environment and be a confident communicator. Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement are essential along with strong organisational and forward-planning abilities.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

This is a full-time, fixed term 6 month appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597 - $72,348 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $70,734 - $79,221 p.a.).
