The role

In this newly created position, UQ Business School is looking for an experienced communications and public relations manager to join our friendly and high-performing team.

The UQ Business School Marketing and Communications team takes a customer service driven approach to everything we do. Our team culture is all about open communication, collaboration and delivering outstanding results.

The key responsibilities of the Communications Manager are to strategically plan and manage communications, content and media for UQ Business School to showcase our research impact, student and alumni achievements and industry partnerships.


The person

The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years communications management experience.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing communications professionals and teams within large, complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering significant media and communications content with a history of successfully published media stories across a wide range of media outlets.

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range of $81,883.65 - $89,559.15 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17%.
