The School of Physiology, Pharmacology & Neuroscience is seeking to appoint a Student Administration Manager (SAM) on a Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave for a minimum of 1 year (not dependant on an earlier return of post holder).  The School is the largest in the soon to be Faculty of Lifesciences (from August 2018) and provides admin support for 3 taught U/G programmes of study with MSci variances. The School also provides considerable teaching provision for the 3 professional Medicine, Dental and Veterinary programmes.

You will oversee the management of key administrative processes relating to taught student programmes within the annual student administrative cycle and have a proven level of administrative experience. You will have experience of managing and leading a team.  You will be used to managing conflicting deadlines and working under your own initiative.  Experience of working with a range of IT systems and software, and particularly strong Excel knowledge is strongly preferred.

You will be required to support the School Education Director and School Manager in the teaching endeavours of the School with a strong customer care orientation, with commitment to service quality in a professional manner. You will have a proven track record of demonstrating the ability to form relationships with colleagues at all levels with a friendly and approachable personality.

It is anticipated that interviews will take place on 3 August 2018.
