NonStop Pharma is currently looking for a Key Account Manager on behalf of a pharmaceutical company based in Italy and that mainly operates through high-cost products for specific and very niche diseases.

The company is operating in Italy through a light structure where their KAMs actually have afield managerial function, meaning they are the only responsible for the growth of the area developing therefore important and career defining soft skills.

At the same time, our client employs very talented professionals within medical affairs (namely MSLs) and consequently teamwork attitude will be required to fully take on the role in the best possible way.

Additionally the commercial team is growing, meaning there is room for growth in the foreseeable future.

Duties and Responsibilities of the role

  • Understand and map the local and regional funding, clinical decision processes and identify all key stakeholders, both at scientific and access level
  • Develop relationships with decision-making organisations in the local health economy in order to effectively inform account business plans
  • Inform Haematologists/Oncology specialists on company's product and therapeutic information according to the marketing and sales strategies
  • Develop and execute customer and account business plans, within designated key accounts, to ensure that all appropriate patients have access to company's Pharmaceuticals medicines


We are eager to speak with professionals who are currently based in Lazio (Rome ideally) and have sales and key account management/market access experience within specialty care products (haematology).

Fluency in English and Italian, as well as previous experience within start-ups or small-to-midsize companies complete the profile, even though they are not mandatory skills.

This is a permanent position (contratto a tempo indeterminato)
