NonStop's client, based in the North East of England, is looking for experienced manager to join their children with disabilities team.
This is an extremely unique opportunity as these posts seldom open up for agency workers. Our client is offering a 3-6 month contract to experienced Team Managers within their children with disabilities team. This Local Authority are looking for candidates with team manager experience particularly in Children with Disabilities.
Those with a vast amount of team management experience within other children services will also be considered for the role and is a great opportunity to move over into a children with disabilities team at management level without prior experience in the service. Also, those with assistant team manager experience within a children with disabilities team may also be considered so it will offer a move up into a more senior position.
Your team will be of a size of 8 social workers in a Local authority with a good Ofsted so you will be joining a well organised team with strong performing service. Your team will be focused on children with disabilities and children with special educational needs but they will also cover the transitions process of adolescents moving from children services over to adult services.
Interviewing will get under way this week and next, and is expected to fill quite quickly based on how rare it is.
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant Degree
- Post qualification in the UK experience
- Team Manager experience
- HCPC registration
- Full Clean driving license
