The role

The Human Resources Advisor (Recruitment) is accountable for the effective provision of recruitment advice and administration support to meet the recruitment service delivery needs of the University working with a defined client group.

The role provides support, consultancy and advice to Hiring Managers on recruitment solutions, policies, procedures and requirements throughout the recruitment process, ensuring that Hiring Managers and candidates receive the best possible customer experience.

The role ensures all HR recruitment advice and support services are in compliance with relevant policies and/or external legislative and regulatory controls.  This also includes coordinating approvals on recruitment and selection decisions and actions and where necessary escalating complex and sensitive matters.

As a member of the Professional Services team, the Human Resources Advisor (Recruitment) supports the implementation of HR projects and initiatives aligned to client business unit needs and the broader University HR strategy.

 

The person

Applicants should possess a degree qualification in HR, Business, or a related field with subsequent relevant experience in recruitment and/or equivalent combination of relevant training and professional experience.

Experience as a recruiter, delivery client focused end-to-end recruitment services in a high volume environment, working with established policy frameworks is essential.

Applicants should also be highly capable of applying structured problem solving approaches, as well as establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with key stakeholders.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing role at HEW Level 6. The remuneration package will be in the range $74,207.07 – $79,964.50 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $86,822.27 – $93,558.47 p.a.).
