    The Information Technology and Digital Services branch is part of the Division of University Operations, which provides technology capabilities to support the University's teaching and research objectives and business activities. The branch services the vast University community through four core services: IT Business Engagement, IT Programs and Digital Solutions Delivery, IT Operations and Digital Services, and IT Strategy Planning and Governance.

    This role offers an outstanding opportunity to hit the ground running in a customer focused team. Service Desk Analysts provide Service Desk support to the staff and students of the University in the use of technology at various campuses and medical facilities. This position requires customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to all levels of understanding. Ability to work with and an understanding of a broad range of technology is required.

    Salary: (HE04) $61,735 - $67,704 per annum.

    Superannuation: A minimum employer contribution of 9.5% applies.

    Term of position: This fixed-term contract is available immediately until 31/12/18.

     

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a service desk or similar support role
  • Demonstrated experience supporting users in an enterprise environment
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment
  •  

    Qualification:

    IT related qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience.
