Job Details
Working with the ICEP team the successful candidate will evaluate epigenetic and metabolomic phenotypes as exposure indicators, risk predictors and potential mechanistic processes on the causal pathway to cancer. The analysis of DNA methylation and metabolomics data and the implication of causal analysis methods (including Mendelian randomization) will form part of the role holder’s research portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful cancer research team, embedded within the larger MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit, with strong collaborative links across the University and beyond, including with the cancer research team at Southmead Hospital, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC, France) and other international researchers.
