Role Description
The successful candidate will provide and deliver health economics' expertise to support HTA submissions to NICE/SMC/JCVI for Pfizer's extensive portfolio of technologies.
The ideal candidate will:
* be a technical expert with a track record in economic modelling, outcomes research, epidemiology and/or evidence synthesis;
* have strong communication and project management skills; and
* have experience of developing HTA submissions to NICE/SMC/JCVI
The position is office based and will report directly to the Health and Value Team Leader. Remote working could be considered on a case-by-case basis, for a maximum of 2 days/week.
Key Accountabilities
* Support the development of HTA strategies;
* Support the sourcing, generation and interpretation of scientific evidence (including economics' information and data);
* Support the planning, design and execution of projects aligned to address NICE, SMC, AWMSG and JCVI processes and requirements;
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* Track-record/experience in economic modelling, outcomes research, epidemiology and/or evidence synthesis
* Strong project management, communication, listening and analytical skills
* Experience of developing HTA submissions (desirable for those with vaccines experience)
* Experience of commissioning and managing external vendors
* Experience of stakeholder management both internal and external
* 3+ years of professional experience in similar roles
Desirable
* Post graduate qualification in health economics or allied discipline such as outcomes research, epidemiology etc…
* Rare disease, General Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology and/or Vaccines experience.
* Experience of developing submissions for NICE/SMC/JCVI
