Duration of the award: 48 months, full time commencing 1st October 2018.

Project description: The project will investigate the dose response effects of vitamins C and D and zinc alone and in combination on inflammation and immunity using a range of cell lines. Interactive mechanisms will be explored. The final phase of the study might include a pilot human study.

Funding information: This studentship is supported by Bayer industry.

Funding will provide a standard Research Council UK PhD stipend of £14,777.00 and also cover fees for a UK student.
