Software Engineer - Hedge Fund learning opportunities

I am currently working with a unique asset management that has a core focus around quantitative investment strategies. This is a growing company whose main client base is independent financial advisors. As part of their success they are now looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join the company.

The Role
This is a unique role as you will be supporting the company in all IT areas. This includes maintaining their IT Infrastructure but also using your technical skills to improve investment strategies.

Your Profile
* Strong educational Background (IT/Computer Science / Mathematics)
* Independent work mind-set

You will be joining a small team so it is key that you have the ability to work with colleagues focusing on different areas. This is a super chance to become educated on the ins and outs of an asset management company. As it's a small company you have the chance to really have a voice in decision making and have an impact over the whole company.

Technologies:
* Java, Javascript, React and Twitter Bootstrap
* Kubernetes on the Google Cloud as well as Matlab and Excel
* Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, MySQL, Kafka and ElasticSearch
