Job Details
I am working with an established Insurance company who are investing heavily in the Data Science field. With a progressive approach to new technologies they are growing out their DevOps team and are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who can join the team and contribute in their drive towards success.
This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team where they can learn Data Science techniques from senior colleagues but also delve into exciting investigative analytics. You will be using analytics and technology to provide solutions for internal customer, business units and group functions.
Your Role
* Lead Full Stack Software Engineer
* Provide the DevOps team with support for their Risk Modelling platform.
* Scala development support
* Employing a wide variety of tools to join together systems to make sure that all architectures and systems best support the business needs
Requirements
* Educational background in Computer Science
* 2+ years experience in Scala and Akka play frameworks
* Data management experience
* REQUIRED: (Scala, Java, JavaScript)

Although you will be based in Zurich, the Data Analytics division has teams in Barcelona, Slovakia and the UK.
