You will contribute to our broader student-facing activities, including individual and small group workshops and talks. Working closely with other Client Services Advisors and Career Practitioners you will actively develop new or improve existing career learning activities for students.

You will be expected to build successful working relationships with key partners such as staff within faculties and other professional services, as well as contribute to additional projects designed to support the ongoing development of the Careers and Employability Service. Current projects within the team include developing our social media presence and co-ordinating the Career Mentoring Programme.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. Time management and organisational skills are also essential. Experience with data analysis will be desired. You will be able to apply good judgement and take a creative approach to problem solving. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in using databases is required. You do not need a qualification in Careers Guidance, however relevant training and experience of working with clients in an advisory or coaching role is essential. Experience in an HE/education setting would be an advantage.
