Job Details
Working as part of a busy administration team, the role will include providing general office support including formatting of documents, managing post, welcoming and directing visitors, dealing with routine office enquiries in person or on the telephone as well as providing ad-hoc administrative support such as car hire, travel, meeting arrangements etc. to academic staff across the School.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and will be able to balance multiple enquiries and ad-hoc interruptions whilst managing a heavy and varied workload. Previous recent experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.
A positive, cheerful attitude, with self-confidence, strong communication skills and the ability to use your initiative are essential.

Interviews will be held on Thursday 13th September. Please note, you will be considered for the Administrative Assistant posts in both Physics (SUPP104409) and Chemistry (SUPP104411) unless you specify otherwise.
