Job Details
Do you have experience of successful development and delivery of higher and/or degree apprenticeships?
Can you work effectively with others to build excellence and ensure compliance with policy and quality assurance requirements?
The development of higher and degree apprenticeships is a strategic priority for the Lifelong Learning Centre (LLC) as part of our focus on adult learners and widening participation. Our Foundation Degrees for Nursing Associates and Assistant Practitioners in Healthcare are now offered as Higher Apprenticeships and we are about to launch a chartered management Degree Apprenticeship. We anticipate future developments around our established Foundation Degrees in Child and Family Studies and Learning and Teaching and seek further opportunities, where these are consistent with our mission.
This post has been created so that we can ensure excellence in this environment. You will bring a thorough understanding of the policy requirements of the Skills Funding Agency and of the relevant quality assurance regimes and an ability to work strategically with programme teams and professional partners to establish best practice and high quality in apprenticeship delivery both for existing programmes and in the development of new provision.
To explore the post further or for any queries you may have, please contact:Dr Tony Ellis, Director, Lifelong Learning Centre Tel.: +44 (0)113 343 3192Email: a.c.ellis@leeds.ac.uk
