Job Details
Responsibilities and tasks
- Support the MIRI GTO program and expand it in the coming calls for JWST GO proposals
- Formulate and execute observational programs on the large observation facilities e.g. VLT, ALMA, HST, relevant for interpretation of the JWST observations
- Participate in the both national and international activities associated with the Cosmic Dawn Center of Excellence
- Teaching of bachelor and graduate students in the Earth and Space Physics and Engineering educational program of DTU Space
- Supervising of PhD students
Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) as well as academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an Associate Professorship
- Candidates must provide documentation for didactic/pedagogic training
- The applicant must demonstrate a solid background in observational cosmology
- The applicant must demonstrate experience in formulating and executing programs on the large observing facilities e.g. VLT, ALMA, HST.
- The applicant must demonstrate experience in analyzing near/mid infrared observations, both imaging and spectroscopy

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed with the relevant union.
