In addition to national and international collaborations, we enjoy long-standing research links with colleagues across Psychology and the University, including those in Psychiatry, Medicine, Health Sciences, Biological Sciences and Social Sciences.

Our research facilities are recognised as internationally world leading/excellent (REF2014) and include laboratories for social interaction and behavioural observation, neuropsychological/cognitive testing, child/family, couple and marital studies, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), electroencephalography (EEG), psychophysiology, eye-tracking, virtual reality, and psychopharmacology. Our work attracts significant funding from a variety of external sources. Strategic partnerships with NHS Trusts, schools, Government and industry deliver world leading impact (REF2014).
