Job Details
The successful applicant must have excellent English communication skills, have knowledge of medical or medical research terminology and experience of working in a busy office environment. They will ideally have previous experience of working on clinical trials within the NHS or commercial health research sector, and an understanding of GCP and clinical trial regulations, although full training will be given to the right candidate. A willingness to travel within the UK is also required.
The employing organisation is the University of Southampton which offers a competitive salary, pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, and other benefits. The post is offered on a one year fixed term contract in the first instance with the possibility of an extension. Full time post but part time may be considered.
The CTU is part of a strong research environment in Southampton which includes the Cancer Research UK Clinical Centre, Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre, Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility and strong NHS R&D Management.
