Job Details
We are seeking an experienced, creative practitioner with technical expertise in Woven Textile Design to complement our existing team and directly supervise textile design students in a studio environment.
For this role you should have knowledge and understanding of current developments in Textiles and professional contexts as an established practitioner, as well as having experience of teaching Woven Textiles.
You will contribute to the teaching, the assessment activities, administration, curriculum development and organisation. You should also demonstrate extensive practical knowledge and experience of the Fashion and Textiles Industry, informed by current practices, innovations and technologies.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the capacity to teach in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will join a highly motivated team, which enjoys significant opportunities and support for personal development.
