We invite applications from suitably qualified women to join us as Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security in our School of Computer Science to drive research with profound impact and to participate in our vibrant learning environment. 

In the most recent Academic Ranking of World Universities (Computer Science & Engineering) the School of Computer Science was ranked 43rd world-wide. We can provide you with an excellent research and industry environment in cybersecurity in which to thrive. This continuing position is a great opportunity for you to set new research directions and contribute to teaching curriculum development.

 

We seek candidates who have:

  • A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
  • Teaching experience demonstrating both commitment and success in effective and inspirational participation in the area of cybersecurity
  • Demonstrated ability to significantly contribute to the teaching and administration of subjects (including curriculum development) within the range of subjects offered by the school
  • Demonstrated ability to significantly contribute to world class research within the research area of cybersecurity
  • High level of oral and written communication skills in English.
  • A variety of flexible working arrangements are available for the successful candidate.

The Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences celebrates diversity and has a range of programs available to support our staff and students in their academic lives. Salary: (Level C) $117,310 - $134,966 per annum | (Level D) $140,845 - $154,965 per annum, depending on experience.

Superannuation: An employer contribution of up to 17% applies.

Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately.
