Job Details
The post-holder will provide specialist technical support for the day-to-day running of the NMR and MS instruments (50% FTE in each Facility). This will include assistance with running MS analyses, method development, training, advice, troubleshooting, service and maintenance support for post-doctoral research assistants, post-graduate and undergraduate researchers, and external companies/collaborators.
In order to apply, you will need to have a first degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related discipline, previous experience of working with NMR/MS instruments and data and should be comfortable working with a wide range of scientific users, have great communication skills and enjoy problem solving.
