Senior Teaching Associate (Psychology in Education)

The School of Education is seeking to appoint a full-time, one-year fixed term, Senior Teaching Associate to assist in the delivery of our new BSc Psychology in Education and our established MSc in Psychology of Education programme for 2018-19.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully teaching British Psychology Society (BPS) accredited undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes.

The MSc Psychology of Education is a BPS accredited conversion course which is highly attractive to students who have extensive relevant professional experience and are preparing for professional training and careers as psychologists in the education, counselling and mental health services.  The new BSc degree will provide similar breadth and depth of knowledge at undergraduate level and it is expected that the successful candidate will have particular expertise in the areas of developmental and/or cognitive psychology.
